Where The Idea Came From
A dozen years ago, TRX creator and future OutFit founder, Randy Hetrick, along with his team at TRX, conceived a brand activation called “TRX on Tour.” TRX instructors loaded a sprinter van full of TRX equipment (including Suspension Trainers hanging from each side of the van) and delivered pop-up outdoor fitness classes all across the country.
Even though the response was tremendous, it wasn’t the right time to launch as a business because the technology needed to scale had not yet been developed.
The Time Had Finally Arrived
Over a decade later, advancements in geo-location, online registration, and social media finally made OutFit possible. With a small entrepreneurial team, Randy launched OutFit’s unique outdoor training experiences in neighborhoods across America.
Ready to Launch
OutFit launched in mid-2021 in Plantation, Florida—a perfect fit thanks to the city’s health-conscious, community-driven culture. Embraced from day one, OutFit quickly expanded to Fort Lauderdale and nearby cities. With strong support from South Florida communities, it now manages outdoor fitness services for residential and corporate campuses.
